What is Banner?  

Banner is an Integrated Information System (IIS) developed for Higher Education institutions by Software and Computer Technologies, Inc (SCT).  The University of Central Oklahoma has licensed five main module of Banner as well as the full suite of Banner Web products.  The main modules are: Alumni/Development, Finance, Financial Aid, Human Resources, and Student.  These module all share information between themselves (they are integrated) without the need for us to develop complex interfaces between the modules.
